A major trend is being confirmed in the beauty sector: according to the latest forecasts from October 2024, e-commerce will account for almost a quarter (24.5%) of beauty product sales in the United States by 2028.
The most dynamic segments?
Hair care: +12.6% in 2025
Skin care: +11% in 2025
However, consumers' growing financial concerns have slowed beauty spending, with forecasts for 2024 revised downwards ($99.57 billion vs. $102 billion initially).
For brands and retailers, these figures underline the importance of a solid digital strategy while maintaining a relevant physical presence.
Now is the time to invest in innovative loyalty programs, digital product launches and technological purchasing tools to stimulate growth! (and we can talk about it over coffee, of course!)
I was talking recently about customer experience, and I'm more convinced than ever: the future of beauty will belong to brands that orchestrate a perfect symphony between all their sales channels!
As far as I'm concerned, I've decided to get my hair cut! 💇♂️
